Futuro Capital was incorporated by its principals; Ben Hopkins and Phillip George. Together with the team, they bring a strong understanding of real estate fundamentals with finance, structuring, development and asset management experience.

 

Their experience in disciplined management over the lifecycle of an investment ensures that strategic objectives and returns are achieved on behalf of the firm’s investment partners.

Our teams’ expertise spans all areas of the property market, from residential, retail, commercial, industrial and hotels. They place the highest importance on leading-edge design, engineering, technology and sustainable development practices.

  • PHILLIP GEORGE

    PRINCIPAL

    Phillip has been actively involved in all aspects of property development and investment since 1998. He has managed investments through their investment cycle, from acquisition, reposition or development, and stabilisation or disposal. He has experience in commercial, residential, retail and industrial developments.

    Phillip’s work ethic and structured approach to development ensures stringent levels of due diligence pre-acquisition; tight project management post-acquisition; as well as the on-going portfolio management to maximise the potential of the assets for capital and income returns.

  • BEN HOPKINS

    PRINCIPAL

    Ben has worked throughout the Asia Pacific for the past 17 years, sourcing, acquiring and delivering real estate assets. Ben has managed project teams in large scale developments in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, India, Vietnam, and Malaysia

    Prior to forming Futuro Capital, Ben held senior positions as a Director of Savills Singapore (2011-2015), and most recently as the Managing Director of Roxy-Pacific Holdings (SGX listed) for Australia and New Zealand between 2015 to 2019. He has transacted and managed over 50 properties, with a gross asset value of $2bn. Ben holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, Sydney University (Honours); Dip. Property Investment & Finance Certificate, Property Council of Australia Academy.

  • PETER ADAM

    DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

    Peter has over 25 years of experience in delivering complex development projects from concept to completion, including master-planned communities and urban redevelopment projects, residential, offices, retirement living, logistics & industrial and retail.

    Before joining Futuro, Peter was a Director at Savills and held Senior Development Manager roles with both Brookfield Residential and Multiplex.

    Peter holds a Master of Property Development and Bachelor of Architecture and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
