Futuro Capital bought 235 Bourke Street, Melbourne in 2020. It was acquired through two separate strata at a value of $206m.
Futuro is undertaking a capital expenditure program over three years to reposition the building into an A-grade building, while the sitting tenant (RMIT) remains in the building and it continues to be operational.
The repositioning will comprise 3,500 sqm of new retail, including high street retail on Bourke Street, up-market F&B offering, gym and wellness centre and a rooftop bar.
