Futuro, in partnership with KKR & Marprop acquired the Sofitel Wentworth Sydney for $315m. Futuro is the Investment Manager on behalf of the joint venture, with the project involving a major refurbishment and repositioning of the hotel.

Sofitel Sydney Wentworth (‘Sofitel’) is a landmark hotel in a blue-ribbon location in the financial ‘core’ precinct of the Sydney CBD. The 436-room, 5-star hotel is currently managed by Accor.

Futuro will undertake physical repositioning of the asset to drive NOI performance to capture market momentum in the post-covid recovery cycle while restating the asset as the premier lifestyle business hotel in Sydney.
